Smash Things, Shoot Things, Paint Thing Youth Night!
May 25 was the final @ridgeyouthkelowna night before the summer break! To end on a somewhat explosive note we had a Smash Things, Shoot Things, Paint Things night!
- Opening ceremony Cole gave a speech in an indeterminable accent and threw an old printer off the portable roof which we smashed immediately thereafter
- We shot at balloons with a paintball gun. In each balloon was either a prize or a punishment! Some prizes were candy, some gift cards, and shooting Kyle or Matt with a paintball gun but the punishments were getting water ballooned, getting shot with a paintball gun, and drinking a coke through your own sock.
- The next challenge was to build a protective box for an egg out of garbage and plants and have it thrown by a slingshot to see if the egg would survive. The 3 person slingshot would later be used to launch cake.
- The night finished off with each person getting a 3 layered, iced cake for eating... but mainly for throwing at each other. IT TURNED INTO A CAKE FIGHT!!!! and it was awesome. Yes. Nikki made 25 actual fancy cakes to smash š³š
It is so good to laugh :) We love that the Lord gives us the gift of play and joy! Thank you SunRidge for supporting RIDGE Youth through another year of ridiculous and meaningful things.
